ABOUT "MEC"
"MES Singapore", which opened in 2015, and changed its name to "Minerva Education Center (MEC)" in 2022 and was reborn as an online lesson specialized tuition school.
"Minerva" is the name of the Roman goddess who controls "wisdom" and "business".
As the goddess of wisdom, it has been incorporated into the names and coats of arms of educational institutions and libraries around the world.
Our school also bears the name and has the motto of "cultivating intellectuals".
The "intellectual" here means a "living scholarly seeker."
There is no end to "learning".
At our school, we want children who are full of possibilities to come into contact with "living scholarship" and become "knowledge seekers" by all means.

Characteristic of System
The major features of MEC are the following three points.
1. Complete online lesson
→ All MEC lessons are "completely online" , so students are able to concentrate on learning in a safe environment.
* In principle, all lessons using "zoom" , but in some cases it may be use another tools.
2. Learning curriculum setting for each student
→ The learning curriculum is based on the student's current academic ability and required learning content .
We will set up an "individual curriculum for each student" .
In the lesson, we basically use the teaching materials used in MEC, but it is also possible to teach using different teaching materials depending on the situation.
* If you wish to take a lesson using school materials, teach by the lesson.
Please send the material data to the instructor before the lesson.
3. Confirmation of Proficiency System
→ At MEC, an "individual record" file for each student will be created at the time of enrollment.
By accessing this file, parents can check the unit your kids are learning, proficiency level, homework, and the make up lesson schedule.
* This service uses "Google Drive" .

Our Teacher / MEC Point System

1. MEC teachers from various nationalities.
Basically all lessons will be conducted in English (except for some lessons).
Since the lessons incorporate an "output" -based learning format, It will be learning that makes full use of the five senses.
By training your expressiveness, you will deepen the verbalization and understanding of your thoughts .
2. Get points in check format
→ MEC has introduced the "MEC point system" .
End of the last lesson, please tell the teacher about your "Evaluation of today's lessons".
(With 1 star to 3 stars)
By rating this evaluation, i can feed back to the teacher and
will improve the lesson qualities.
If you submit this evaluation, "MEC points" will be given.
There are benefits when you accumulate a certain number of points.
